Engine 72
1996 Freightliner/Rosenbauer
1250 Gallons per minute pump with pump & roll
1500 Gallon tank with 2500 gallon folda-tank
20 gallon class B foam in buckets
Holmatro combi-tool and ram.
In 1996 we purchased our first two engine/tankers. This started a new era at the fire district. This allowed us to combine an engine, tanker, small rescue and brush truck in our outlying stations.
The engine can work as an engine or tanker. In a non-hydranted area it can flow a 150GPM 1 3/4" line for 10 minutes.
The combi tool, ram, cribbing and other tools allows them to do a simple extrication or start a difficult one until more help arrives.
Although the truck can't go off road it carries a backpack blower, rakes, pump cans and 250' of forestry hose for wildland firefighting.
